The BF and I decided on our vacation - Oahu!
Unfortunately, due to my 2009 budget schedule, we weren't able to book it in October or November, as I wanted, so we are going next January.
Still, there's always Florida this summer (yay!). He also wanted to throw Belize in there (where I was really wanting to go), so we may do a long weekend there, but I'm happy to put that off until next year.
I loved loved loved Maui - so I'm very excited we are planning to go back to the islands.
This time, I may take the dogs with me, just in case we decide we don't want to come back...

I don't know if you'll like Oahu as much as Maui as Oahu is more touristy. Try the Big Island if you want to see more scenic sites.
You need to go to that spooky cave that the Brady Kids found. Just don't be tempted to take that little taboo statue.
Woo hoo! Now you have 9 months to fantasize about it.
Hawaii has a crazy quarantine, I've heard of people sneaking people in by pretending to be preggers w/ them under their shirt (!) but that was the 70's and also, tranquilizer wears off before you land...yowch.
P.S. Cat in question was then eaten by a mongoose...what were they THINKING? STupid hippies.
